EPE began to find a rhythm offensively with several players finding success from behind the arc including Devante Jones, Romin Williams, Garrick Green and LeAaron Cain. Jones and Brandon Rachal also set the tone for EPE defensively on the perimeter while Green and Devin Gilmore anchored the paint.
The Blazers made a comeback in the second half, though, mostly behind the all-around play of Lagrange 2017 wing J’son Brooks and the shooting of Northside 2017 guard Cam Mcgilvery. Brooks had a tough matchup facing Rachal for most of the day but was still able to find a way to be effective inside the 3-point line.
Brooks played a key role in a run that saw the Blazers cut the score to 65-57 late in the second half but EPE had done its work early en route to a 67-62 victory. Check out highlights of the matchup below:
