Aaron Henry – 6’5 | SF | 2018 – Ben Davis (IN) | Team Harris 2018
This might have been one of the best games I’ve seen from Henry. He’s really starting to take things to a new level. He’s a big, strong kid and maybe finally hitting that 6’6 mark. This weekend he showed a few new aspects to his game including posting up one the block and a eurostep variation. He didn’t rely as much on his jumper and that made him that much more difficult to defend. Ready to bump up a level possibly.
Eric Hunter – 6’2 | PG | 2018 – Indianapolis Tindley (IN) | Team Harris 2018
Much like his teammate Aaron Henry, Hunter really showed a few new things in my first viewing of him this July. His athleticism was on display as he went up for a few alley-oops in transition. It wasn’t that he landed them but that he cleared the rim really well. Eric scored the ball like he normally does but it was just the addition of the athleticism that stood out.
Caleb Brown – 6’6 | SF | 2018 – Broad Ripple (IN) | EG10 All-Stars
Brown has been on the more improved players we have seen this summer but part of that is due to his transfer and having to sit out a while. However, he has transitioned himself to more of a wing player and has really done well as an offensive threat away from the rim. His jumper is clean and he is more than willing to use it in the mid-range.
Tyler Watson – 6’1 | PG | 2018 – Tri-West (IN) | Indiana Elite Central 2018
Watson has been very impressive as he continues to be more aggressive and efficient. The 2018 guard is about as composed as you can ask for in his play and he has helped to lead IE Central to quite a few solid wins against tough competition. His scoring has grown as well and showed a solid floater and mid-range pullup this past weekend.
Marlon Taylor – 6’4 | SF | 2018 – South Bend Riley (IN) | Spiece Indy Heat 16U Red
Marlon is the third of the 2018 South Bend Riley kids but that doesn’t mean he is behind the others. He’s a competitor and plays that way. He’s strong and tough and really gets after it on both ends of the floor. His driving ability was improved and looked like a better asset to his game than last season. He can and will out-muscle everyone on the floor, something that really stands out.
