Continue ReadingThe past couple of season, many in the hoops scene in Arizona are familiar with 2020 guard Nico Mannion. He spent time playing with the Ventura Vipers AAU program. Now,he will be taking his talents to play for the well coached & successful program of Pinnacle High School under head coach Charlie Wilde & his long time, loyal assistant coaches.
Nico is a very smart player for his age to go along with his skill set. Nico has already proven himself to be one of the top shooters in his class on the west coast and will continue over the next couple of seasons to develop into an even better prospect. Nico is the son of former NBA player Pace Mannion who starred at the University of Utah and spent his time playing in the association as well as overseas.
Heading into his freshman year of high school, Nico has already received offers from 2 division one universities: Cal State Northridge & most recently after team camp, local Arizona State University. As time moves forward, look for plenty of more interest and offers to pour in for the young Mannion.
Mannion has a good head on his shoulders and has a strong work ethic and will look to improve in all area’s of his game.
In the AAU circuit, Mannion now plays for Earl Watson Elite under the direction of Ryan Silver.
