PG Jamie Lewis (Westlake HS, GA)
The 6’2” point guard from Georgia might have been the top point guard at the camp. Lewis has a great frame and a strong build while still maintaining fluidity as well as athleticism. The rising junior is strong with the ball in his hands and tough when attacking downhill. Finishes well through traffic at the rim using his strength shooting a high percentage on drives to the hoop. Slick handles putting combination moves together to get where he wanted on the floor. Solid shooting lead guard that knocked them down on a regular basis throughout the camp. Crisp passer that makes quality decisions with the ball as a distributor. High major lead guard and is one of my favorite players at this position nationally.
PF Silvo de Sousa (Montverde, FL)
The top 10 national prospect from Florida didn’t show up until half way through the camp, but he was dominant in the games he played. The 6’8” power forward is built like an NFL tight end with his strength and elite athleticism. He powers home dunk after dunk with power and force. Elite running the floor in the transition game being a rim runner/finisher. Dominant offensive rebounder with his quickness and strength to get second chance points. The part I was most impressed with was his ability to handle the ball. He looked extremely comfortable on the perimeter handling it off the bounce and going right at his man for buckets at the hoop. Elite high major prospect.
PF Jontay Porter (Father Tolton HS, MO)
Porter was one of top performers at the camp impressing many of the scouts and fans in attendance. The 6’10” power forward who is already committed to Washington is a skilled lefty that can beat a defense in a variety of ways. Slick handles for his size as he can beat most opposing post players off the dribble. Creates space for his plus perimeter jumper with a jab step and crossover. Great passing big. Solid rebounder that can grab the ball off the backboard and go end to end.
C Florent Thamba (Mountain Mission HS, VA)
Thamba is a 6’8” center with incredible length. He is a mobile rebounder that high points the ball and grabs rebounds with long arms over defenders. Runs the floor very well. Athletic finisher in the paint. Needs to add strength to finish with more consistency through contact. Can step out to hit an 18 foot jumper on occasion. Upside here!
SF Antwaan Jones (Oakridge HS, FL)
Jones is a good sized 6’5” wing that is a scorer first, second, and third. He is an athletic small forward that has the ability to score in bunches. Range on his shot, but was streaky at times. Didn’t pass it too much and seemed disconnected from his teammates.
SG Jalen Carey (Immaculate Conception HS, NJ)
Carey stands at 6’2” and is a tough on ball defender. He did a great job defending opposing backcourt players getting steals and turning them into points on the other end of the floor. Explosive first step off the bounce.
PF Emmitt Williams (IMG Academy, FL)
Williams is a slightly undersized power forward at 6’6” that makes up for it with his 6’11” wing span. The Florida native has a physical build with great upper body strength. Plays physical down low and is at his best when getting deep post position.
C Marcus Littles (Academy of New Church HS, PA)
Littles is a 6’7” big bodied post that has a 7’1” wingspan. Dominant area rebounder that knows how to box out and snatch rebounds. Finishes very well through contact converting lots of and-1s. Can step out to hit a three on occasion, but also air balled a few.
SG Justin Ahrens (Versailles HS, OH)
Lefty shooting guard with size at 6’5”. Ahrens can really shoot the basketball from the perimeter. He has a flare for the game and is a big time spot up shooter that lets it fly with confidence.
SG Jeenathan Williams (University Prep, NY)
The 6’4” wing with a 6’11” wingspan is a strongly built two guard that was dominant going downhill attacking the hoop. He plays with an outstanding motor and handles the ball great for a wing especially getting through traffic. Quick to the offensive glass. Intense wing that plays with a ton of drive.
SG Aundre Hyatt (Stepinac HS, NY)
Major upside with the 6’4” wing from the northeast. Has range on his perimeter shot and a strong frame.
SG Ryan Boyce (Houston HS, TN)
Long and athletic wing from Tennessee. Quickness with the ball in his hands. Solid pull up jump shooter.
SF Cole Swider (St. Andrews, RI)
Skilled wing that plays with toughness. He has a nose for the basketball and is a solid rebounder. At 6’7” Swider shot the ball well from beyond the arc.
