“We have a very good team this year that is definitely one of the top teams in the state,” Haider said. “And we’re looking to keep improving throughout the summer.”
Dillon has team goals and goals for himself going forward.
“I would like to improve on my defense and being a more vocal leader on the court. I think I have improved my ability to score the ball in different ways and have improved my point guard skills.
“I would like to keep improving my game, getting stronger, and to be as successful as possible and hopefully win a couple tournaments.”
At this time next year Haider will be preparing for the college game and there are likely to be several options although the level is uncertain.
“I have heard from St. Johns, Upper Iowa, Morningside, Briar Cliff, St. Scholastica, and Northwestern (St.Paul). I am Not sure on what I am going to major in yet.”
Haider and the Comets will be in the Northstar Hoops State Tournament this weekend.
