He caught my eye with his ability to score in multiple ways, but at times lacked efficiency. As Crow has progressed over the past two season he has improved tremendously and turned into one of the most effective guards in the Oklahoma 2017 Class.
Crow is receiving tons of interest from Division II programs across the country and has even garnered some attention from a couple of Ivy league programs. Crow plays with a high basketball IQ, which allows him to play at a high level and make others around him better.
This past weekend Crow helped the OKC Wizards to get to the semifinals in the Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Tournament. He has learned to take great shots, which makes his shooting percentage from the floor very high. Crow picks his spots and makes opponents pay. He is not going to wow you with athleticism, but the small things he does on the floor along with his ability to score make him an intriguing player.
This past high school season Crow won the Tulsa World’s Mr. Outside Player of the Year. He gets overlooked at times playing at Rejoice Christian, but Crow has used the spring and summer to his advantage on the grassroots circuit. Crow has proved he has the skills to play at the next level.
Crow stands at 6’3 with the versatility to play the Point or at the 2. He is a slasher to the rim that gets going with shots around the basket. He has learned to finish strong through traffic, which puts him on the line frequently. When Crow is attacking the basket aggressively he is at his best. He has improved his outside jumper and will need to continue to work on it. If Crow can turn into a reliable three-point shooter his game will go to another level.
Colleges that have reached out to Crow include Arkansas Tech, Oklahoma Christian, Point Loma, Davis, Elkins College and Brown.
