2017 Chuck Johnson, F, Iowa Dynasty (Iowa City West): A very strong second and third jump that allows him to really star on the offensive glass.
2017 Jacquese Parks, F, Iowa Dynast (Iowa City West): A scrapper, Parks is always in the thick of the action in the interior, blocking shots, tipping rebounds and just generally making his presence felt.
2017 Max Smith Dahos, G, Iowa Dynasty (Cedar Rapids Prairie): A very smart point guard, Smith Drahos knows when to make the extra pass and when to assert himself on the offensive end. He’s a clever finisher at the rim, using his body position and excellent ball control to find unusual angles to get buckets. Opportunistically crashes the offensive glass to solid results.
2017 Naeem Smith, G, Iowa Dynasty (Iowa City High): A strong, compact guard, Smith is a solid ballhandler who is quick enough to get by his first man and strong enough to finish at the rim even through contact.
2017 Austin Ash, Iowa Barnstormers (Mount Vernon): Ash is undersized both in height and frame, but he plays with a motor and fearlessness that more than compensates. He’s always playing as hard as possible and nearly always finds himself in the right spots, on both ends of the floor, whether it’s corralling loose balls, filling the lane in transition or helping on defense.
