2018 Calvin Keyes, F, 6’6, All In (Lane Tech (Ill.)): Keyes was just an absolute human eraser as All In overcame a double-digit deficit to beat Iowa Elite in overtime. The forward swatted shot after shot, show the ability to be a patient but effective rim protector.
2018 Devonte Thedford, G, 6’3, Iowa Elite (Des Moines Hoover): Thedford has always been a fantastic defensive stopper, but he’s added a nice drive-and-dish aspect to his game that helps round out his offense.
2019 Patrick McCaffery, F, 6’8, Iowa Barnstormers (Iowa City West): He’s got the height, the length, skill and basketball IQ to be a really special player. A true talent.
2019 Jake Hilmer, PG, 5’10, Barnstormers (North Linn): Ultra-quick and ultra-effective, Hilmer is a great floor general on both ends of the floor.
Nick Finney, G, Shoot It (Pella): A true talent in transition, Finney put major pressure on the defense by rim running and finishing consistently and often.
