Anderson led Louisiana Elite to victory with his stellar shooting performance of 11-20. Anderson finished with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. He is a long versatile guard that uses his athleticism and length to give opponents trouble on both ends.
Anderson after the game told Prep Hoops one of the biggest areas he has been working to improve is to is being a consistent shooter. Anderson showed Saturday he is certainly making strides. The mid-range jumper for Anderson fell frequently throughout the day.
The recruitment of Anderson is heating up with schools from the SEC, BIG 12 and ACC leading the way. Anderson is keeping his options open.
“LSU, N.C. State, Texas A&M, Baylor and Florida have been recruiting me hard,” Anderson said.
Anderson is ranked nationally by several publications and could see a rise in his ranking with the show he put on Saturday. In the second game of the day Anderson followed up his huge performance with another great showing shooting 10-16 from the floor for 22 points.
The improved ball handling skills of Anderson allow him to facilitate. As a combo guard Anderson has many of the qualities you could want at 6’5″ with great athleticism, the ability to score in all three phases of the game, tough defense and good ball security. The recruitment of Anderson will continue to heat up with him putting up great performances like Saturday.
