1. Oklahoma Run PWP
Oklahoma Run PWP has played out of this world since their first weekend on the Under Armour Circuit in New York City. The team is gelling at the right time heading into a pivotal weekend in Los Angles this weekend. Currently PWP is just one game back of making the Finals in Atlanta. The duo of Trey Hopkins and Jaycson Bereal has been phenomenal. Both have picked up multiple Division I offers in the spring.
2. OKC Primetime
OKC Primetime had a huge statement victory this past weekend over Team Griffin vaulting them to the second spot in the state. Primetime is led by their Point Guard Will Graham. Graham directs the offense with great players all-round him including very under the radar DJ Walter. Walter is a name to watch for the future with his length at 6’5 and knock down jumper from the outside.
3. Team Griffin
Team Griffin played up in the 17’s bracket in the Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Tournament. They fell to Primetime in the feature game on Friday night by a couple of points. However, from that point forward Team Griffin responded making a run to the quarterfinals before coming up just short to the Servants. 2019 Point Guard Micah Thomas is one to watch for with his ability to positively effect the game in so many ways.
4. Oklahoma Respect
Oklahoma Respect put on a show this weekend winning the 16U bracket at the Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Tournament. They defeated several quality opponents behind the play of Riley Island. Island was big time shooting the basketball at a very high level. The Oklahoma Respect move the ball extremely well creating openings for great shots for all five players on the floor.
5. Oklahoma Wolfpack
The Oklahoma Wolfpack made a nice run in the Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Tournament 16U Bracket. They started the weekend off on the right foot making the tough plays on both ends of the floor. Oklahoma Wolfpack doesn’t have one guy who necessarily led the way due to their great team play. Several players on the Oklahoma Wolfpack 16U squad will end up playing small college basketball out of high school.
