Notes:
Elfrid Payton Elite is looking for it’s 2nd trip to the Peach Jam in as many years after joining the EYBL last season. They will play defense at a very high level and be one of the more physical teams on the circuit as they attack the rim relentlessly. Last season’s leading scorer and rebounder in Brandon Rachal returns and is even bigger now with an improved jump shot. He’s already exhibited his leadership in practice sessions this season. There are multiple big time additions to the roster in players who have experience playing together. The focus was clear as this roster was assembled with high intensity defenders coupled with guys who have the grit needed to compete with some of the nation’s best on the Nike circuit. Big guards and athletic forwards will cause tough match-ups every game for opposing teams and coach Mitch knows how to get the best out of this group.
