A 6-foot-2, 165-pound guard, Smith is always in attack mode and can score and make plays for his teammates. An athletic player with terrific leaping ability and quickness, Smith is also a terrific defender as well.
He says he is hearing a lot from Missouri State, Wichita State, Drake, Northern Iowa, University of South Dakota, Western Illinois, Tulsa, and several others.
He says playing on the Adidas Gauntlet has been a terrific experience throughout the early stages of the spring.
“The experience is great because you are always playing against high level competition each game,” he said. “My AAU performance has been solid so far and my offers are going to start rolling in.
“I need to work on my shooting more like being more consist and my decision making and my leadership skills.”
Smith said his mother and his family has been the biggest influence on his basketball career because, “They keep me going and they motivate me to do good so I can give back to them by going to college for free.
“Russell Westbrook is a NBA player that I look up to because I like how he can score but also do the little things like rebound and get his teammates involved.”
