In the 17U Invitational Division Arizona Power Factory leads a group of three in-state programs. Coach Mullins’ group started strong at the SWS Main Event getting to the title game (including a last second win over Powerhouse Black) before falling to a highly regarded Phoenix Phamily by two. They didn’t do so hot this past weekend at the Hoops Review Spring Tip Off, going winless in four contest albeit against very high level competition. They will look to revive themselves in a pool that features AUSA Black, Nevada Wolfpack, and Up-N-Coming.
Also in the 17U Invitational Division is Arizona Aces Unsigned Seniors and Arizona Dream Team. The Aces Senior group had a big win against Arizona Power Black at the SWS Main Event and will look to continue to get their guys exposure in the first of two live periods.
The 17U Platinum Division is also well represented. The Firestorm had a strong weekend at the SWS Main Event and will look to continue to build their brand of tough-nosed, fundamentally sound, skilled players. Arizona Aces Elite and Powerhouse Hoops will also look to make their mark.
The 16U Division features two of the top four 16U teams in the state with Arizona Power Factory and Powerhouse Hoops. In the 15U division, Phoenix Phamily will have two teams representing Arizona.
Games begin Friday afternoon at 6:00 P.M. More info can be found at http://www.fullctpress.net/16-spring-spec-info-reg.html
