“Overall, it was a solid senior season,” Ryan said. “It was a lot of fun and we were pretty successful. I will remember how well we played together as a team and bought into being a team the most.”
We saw Sean play numerous times with the Minnesota Fury over the spring and summer and he always grabbed our attention with his steady decision making, dependable playmaking, and outstanding defensive effort. This year he did that, and more.
“I used to be pretty much just a spot up shooter, and this year I think I was able to score in many different ways,” Sean explained. “I’ll need to keep getting bigger, faster, and stronger to get ready for college.”
Ryan is now working on what is next as he’s choosing between three division three basketball programs who are amongst the best at that level.
“(I’m looking at) UW-River Falls, St. John’s, and St. Thomas,” Ryan said. “I’ve visited all of them already. I’m planning on deciding fairly soon, probably within the next few weeks.”
Ryan has visited several D2 and D3 programs in the past year but is deciding amongst those three. Ryan doubles as an outstanding student athlete who scored a 30 on his ACT.
Ryan was also a clutch player who hit game winners against Burnsville and Rosemount plus had 36 points against the state runner-up Lakeville North.
