Averaging 10 PPG for the Eagles was 6-foot-9 big man James Streeter, a center with a certain smoothness about his game that drew many eyes to Heat Vang this summer.
Like many big men, he could benefit from a year or two of development. That’s why he’s visiting a junior college this weekend, and it sounds like a commitment may come shortly afterwards.
“Lake Region (a Division I juco in North Dakota) offered me last week, and I’m looking to commit during my visit this weekend,” Streeter told NHR. “A lot of good guys are also going there, and it will be fun to start anew with those guys. We’ll be a good team.”
UW-Stout and Hamline were both in on Streeter’s recruitment, but the chance to improve and get to an athletic scholarship opportunity is too good for him to pass up.
“I want to keep winning and improve and get to the next level,” Streeter said.
