Calvin Adams (5’10 PG, 2018, Zachary) – Adams is a steady point guard who handled the pressure from Scotlandville as well as anyone for Zachary. Can score in spurts and a really solid defender on and off the ball.
Javonte Smart (6’4 PG, 2018, Scotlandville) – 50 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists is all you need to know. One of the top ranked player in the country has continued a tear through his sophomore season. Future pro.
Jordan Adebutu (6’2 SG, 2016, Scotlandville) – Often tasked with defending bigger players (with Garrick Green out a few more games), he handles it well and still scores on the offensive end. Can defend and score from every level.
Jaylen Hawkins (5’10 PG, 2017, Scotlandville) – Hawkins has really developed off the ball as a shooter playing next to other guards who handle the ball, including Smart. Extremely quick defensive guard who can run the show as well.
Kameron Kelson (6’4 F, 2017, St Amant) – Kelson is a slashing forward who scores on the block as well. Very athletic and likes to take people off the dribble. Protects rim and solid on perimeter but needs to improve shot on offense.
KJ Franklin (5’8 PG, 2019, St Amant) – Young point guard struggled recently but Franklin can score it and distribute while providing solid defense. High potential guard who has proven he can score against high competition.
Jimel London (5’8 PG, 2018, East Ascension) – London runs a team like a veteran guard for EA’s uptempo offense and is nearly impossible to stay in front of. Defends on ball well and will put his body on the line. Needs to be more aggressive offensively.
LeAaron Cain (6’2 SG, 2017, East Ascension) – Cain can score with the best of them from every level. An array of moves to finish around the rim off the dribble and knockdown from outside. Willing defender that just needs to continue to prove himself.
