CJ Walker
6′ – PG – 2016
Walker played a really good game for Tech. He’s becoming more of a point guard who can both score and pass exceptionally. Walker was really good both on ball and off the ball but he made a few mistakes against Phinisee. He made the right decisions just wasn’t aggressive enough to give his team the victory. – 17 points, 5 assists
Chris King
6’4 – SG – 2016
King didn’t have his best game and really forced a bunch of his shots he took. He hit some but never got into a rhythm. He is a decent enough ball handler but is better to stay off ball and spot up because that when he hits his shots not off the dribble in this one. He is an interesting guy to watch and is very athletic. – 27 points, 6 rebounds
Mario Nalls
6’3 – SG – 2016
Nalls was the strongest rebounder of anyone in this game and his athleticism really showed on both ends of the court. He should have attacked off the dribble a little more than he did against the slowed defender but he was decent on the catch-and-shoot but still didn’t take over the game like he could have at the end. – 13 points, 8 rebounds
McCutcheon:
Robert Phinisee
6′ – PG – 2018
Phinisee was great in this one. He controlled the game completely and was the best player on the court. He was really smart with the ball and didn’t turn the ball over besides just a few times. He is really quick and played step for step with Walker. He drew a ton of contact and did not have any trouble with the Tech pressure. He has a nice shot but just didn’t get a ton to go down in this one. He’s already a D1 point guard and will only keep getting better. – 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists
Haden Deaton
6’4 – SF – 2017
Deaton was easily the most impressive to me in the game. He plays much bigger than his size and crashes the boards really hard. Has a tremendous IQ and knows what to do with the ball. He has a really nice outside shot and is strong enough to mix it up inside as well. Good ball handler and will be a nice player at a D2 college. – 19 points, 10 rebounds
Charles Phinisee
6’1 – SG – 2016
Phinisee played a lot better in this game than I have seen him play in the past. I came away impressed with how much more aggressive he was from the last time. He is becoming more complete as the season goes on. He could play at the next level and be decent there. – 15 points, 7 rebounds
Eddy Collins
5’11 – SG – 2017
Collins may have been the best shooter in this game. He kept hitting it from deep after hitting six in the first half last night. He plays active defense and it seems that his game is starting to come around and he is starting to put it all together. He can play well with anyone and could make an impact if he chooses to play at the next level. More of a lower level guy who could make an impact. – 18 points, 7 rebounds
