Player of the Week: Trae Young
Norman North standout Trae Young is the Prep Hoops Oklahoma Player of the Week. He scored 60 points against Yukon on Friday night in front of Oklahoma and Kansas coaching staffs. Young has been unstoppable this season on the hardwood. He scored 60 points in 30 minutes on Friday night. I am not a math expert, but Young averaged 2 points per minute.
He has a jumper with in the gym range. Once he crosses the half-court line watch out. Nearly every school in the country has thrown their name the hat for Young’s talents. He cut his list to 11 final schools before the season and plans to trim it to 4 or 5 after the High School season.
Young is averaging over 37 points per game in Class 6A. Congratulations to Young on winning the Prep Hoops Oklahoma Player of the Week!
