VOTE: Prep Hoops Indiana Player of the Week
In the third week of January, we saw a few 40-point games, a ton of 30’s and three guys who scored more than 70 points for the entire week. There is a lot of regional names in this as we stretch from Fort Wayne over to the Region, and back down to the Indianapolis area. Take a look at the 6 candidates and vote for this week’s Prep Hoops Indiana Player of the Week.
Jagger Surface (Fort Wayne Northrop) – Jagger scored 42 points in a win over Lakewood Park on Tuesday. He also scored 26 points in a win over Fort Wayne Wayne on Friday night. He scored 23 points in a loss to Warsaw on Saturday night.
Mawich Kachjaani (Indianapolis International) – Scored 15 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Christel House on Wednesday night. He followed that up with 30 points and 14 rebounds in a win over Traders Point this past Friday night.
Trevor Lakes (Lebanon) – He scored 34 points, 9 rebounds in a win over Lafayette Jefferson. On Frdiay night, Lakes scored 21 points in a win over North Montgomery. He then scored 22 points in a win over Speedway on Saturday night.
Nick Mantis (Lowell) – In a win over Lake Central, Nick scored 27 points 9 boards on Tuesday night. On Saturday night he scored 21 points, 8 boards in a win over Kankakee Valley.
Nathan Walpole (Whitko) – He scored 29 points in a loss to South Adams on Tuesday night. He followed that up when he scored 44 points in a loss to Northfield on Friday night.
Kris Wilkes (North Central) – Scored 34 points in a win against Lawrence North on Friday night.. He scored 29 points in a win against Muncie Central on Saturday night.
