Top weekend performances in the Cincinnati area
February is upon us and before we proceed to a new week and a new month, let’s take a look at some players and teams that closed out January on a good note this weekend:
Ryan Robinson, Hamilton: The senior guard is 22 points from 1,000 for his career. He had a season-high 37 points in a 69-55 win over visiting St. Xavier Saturday night. Robinson was 12 of 16 from the field. He averages 20.2 points.
Jacob Biehle: The senior forward had a season-high 26 points to go along with eight rebounds and two assists in the Firebirds’ 68-50 win over visiting Princeton.
Nate Georgeton, Moeller: The senior point guard had a season-high 20 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists and two steals in the Crusaders’ 49-32 win over host St. Xavier.
Jay Harris, Northwest: The senior guard had 20 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in the Knights’ 73-63 win over visiting Little Miami Friday.
Luke Rudy, Oak Hills: The junior guard had 24 points, including 6 of 7 from 3-pointers in an 80-47 win over Colerain.
Kyle Lamotte, Mason: The senior guard had a season-high 33 points to go along with five rebounds in the Comets’ 57-53 win at Lakota East Friday night. He was 12 of 16 from the field.
DeAnthony McCallum, Anderson: The senior guard had a season-high 33 points in a 74-56 win over Turpin Friday. He had five rebounds and three blocks. He was 11 of 14 from the field and 10 of 12 from the free-throw line.
