The southpaw likes to be flashy with the rock using lots of behind the back dribbles. Sometimes can be a little too flashy and try to play one on one which causes turnovers. Slippery through traffic and finishes well through contact at the hoop converting and-1’s through post players by drawing contact and still getting the ball up on the rim. Active hands defensively. Quickness and speed in the open floor pushing the ball are evident in his game. Solid free throw shooter. To reach his full potential he will need to continue to develop as a distributor. Definitely a score first guard at this stage. Quality D3/NAIA prospect.
Anderson described his game and what he likes to do on the floor.
“I try and be very athletic and play defense. Give everyone a scoring opportunity and score as well.”
He talked about his role on the team this season.
“Team leader. When we need to score I get us where we need to be at. If we need a stop I try to get us that.”
