North Dakota Player of the Week: 12/28 – 1/2
This week’s candidates:
Hayden Sadowsky (senior) led his Hettinger-Scranton a 3-0 mark in the Mandan Holiday Tournament. Hayden out-scored a team by himself in one of the games. Went for over 20 points in each game and his team beat number one Shiloh Christian.
Brody Nieuwsma (senior) went for a 43 point outburst against Bismarck’s junior varsity and then had a triple double the next game against EGF Sacred Heart. Brody is a Bismarck State commit from Strasburg-Zeeland
Noah Wanzek (senior) guided Jamestown to a pair of wins over the break with double-double type production. He recorded 30 points and nine rebounds against Devil’s Lake and then had 17 points and ten boards versus Wahpeton.
Siman Sem (junior) led Fargo North to a win over WF Sheyenne with 28 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals. The Spartans have won four of their last five games and the continually improving play of Siman is playing a big part.
Ethan Zetocha (senior) of Oakes led his team to a third straight win with a double-double of 20 and 10 against Langdon/Munich plus had a key 18 points in a one score win over Dakota Prairie.
