Turner is silky smooth with the basketball in his hands can even play the point forward role for stretches. Gets anywhere he wants on the floor with relative ease. Turner has a good looking shooting stroke with range that stretches out to beyond the arc. Once he adds strength this could be one of the more intriguing wing prospects in the sophomore class across the state.
He really got put on the map at the NY2LA Sports Futures Camp which was his first major showcase event.
“It has been great. I have enjoyed it. Keep improving and showing people what I got.”
How would he describe his game?
“I like to attack the basket and show my athleticism. Finish around the rim. I can spread it out too playing on the wing. I can take you left or right and finish on both sides.”
He discussed a few areas he continues to focus on in his work in the lab.
“Consistent jump shot off the dribble. I feel like I can always improve ball handling especially at my size I can always improve on that.”
Turner ran with the Chicago Demons 15U on the circuit this past summer.
“I enjoyed it. It was really nice. We went down to Vegas. We lost in the second round in the platinum division. We might be something special this upcoming year.”
