Now Coach Bibby is back with his own group of talented players with the likes of Mike Bibby Jr, Carlos Johnson (now at Findley Prep), and JJ Rhymes. Looking into the 2019 class, the name Jaelen House will be one to remember. He is the son of Arizona State & NBA standout Eddie House.
Jaelen House has been scene at the middle level on the AAU scene with teams like the I-10 Celtics & Team Bibby. At the middle school AAU level he has made his mark. Moving into this young high school career House looks to do the same. Over the summer at the GCU Team Camp, House wow'd the crowd making very high level plays.
House said, “summer league was a fun experience, first little taste of high school. I liked playing with Shadow during summer league and it's going to be different come school season.”
In July playing with Team Bibby, House spoke highly of it saying after a successful month, “July was fun I played 16u for most of the month.”
Since July House has spent much of his time “getting stronger, trying to gain weight but also work on my all around hoop game.”
Looking ahead at the HS season House has big goals. “We are going to take state.”
