Simeon 2018 small forward Devonire Glass was one of the breakout players of the NY2LA Sports Futures Camp.  The long and rangy 6’7” small forward has the look of a D1 prospect.  He proved he can put it on the deck with ease handling it through traffic and splitting defenders.  Smooth looking shot that he knocked down from mid-range with consistency and stretched it to three on occasion.  Great feel for the game and even displayed some passing instincts.  Defensively has a chance to be very good.  One of the better upside 2018 prospects in the state.

He talked about how the camp went.

“It is going real good.  There is a lot of competition here.”

On the travel team circuit Glass ran with SYF.

“It went real good.  I had a great summer.  I was second team UAA All-American.”

Glass transferred from Lighthouse Academy in Indiana to Simeon for his sophomore season.

“I was moving back to Chicago because I am from there.  Simeon was the best school for me.”
