Continue ReadingSimeon 2018 small forward Devonire Glass was one of the breakout players of the NY2LA Sports Futures Camp. The long and rangy 6’7” small forward has the look of a D1 prospect. He proved he can put it on the deck with ease handling it through traffic and splitting defenders. Smooth looking shot that he knocked down from mid-range with consistency and stretched it to three on occasion. Great feel for the game and even displayed some passing instincts. Defensively has a chance to be very good. One of the better upside 2018 prospects in the state.
He talked about how the camp went.
“It is going real good. There is a lot of competition here.”
On the travel team circuit Glass ran with SYF.
“It went real good. I had a great summer. I was second team UAA All-American.”
Glass transferred from Lighthouse Academy in Indiana to Simeon for his sophomore season.
“I was moving back to Chicago because I am from there. Simeon was the best school for me.”
