Gilbert will be without their dominant inside presence Truman Moore but it won't be a problem with Bowling stepping into the spotlight. The 6'6″ shooter is a mismatch nightmare for opponents due to his size, length, shooting touch, and aggressive nature attacking the rim.
KJ Hymes 6’9″ F 2018 St. Mary’s
Expect a breakout season for Hymes. A reserve just a season ago, KJ has greatly improved his skills and is much more comfortable in the varsity setting. He's got great size and length combined with a versatile skill set and some athleticism. With Marcus Shaver away at prep school, the Knights will focus their offense around this rising sophomore who should not disappoint.
Brett Morrow 6’7″ F 2016 Flagstaff
Morrow helped lead his team to the state tournament last season and this year should be no different. He's back from an injury that sidelined him the entire spring and summer so he'll be playing with a chip on his shoulder. If not for another stingy 6'7″ glass cleaner next to him (George Faull) he would likely lead the state in rebounds.
Caleb Simmons 6’5″ G 2017 Desert Vista
Simmons will step into the go to role for the Thunder now that Brandon Clarke has moved up to the college ranks. Caleb will have a tremendous impact on Desert Vista's success due to his ability to make shots, rebound the ball, and defend multiple positions.
Holland Woods 5’11” G 2017 Apollo
Woods has had a very solid career to this point and, now, with a solid cast around him should see some team success. Holland's ability to make plays off the bounce is unmatched by many and teams will have a hard time containing him.
