One of two returners from DV's runner up team last year, expect for Cool to have a solid, steady season for the Thunder. His consistency from the point guard slot will be key though his squad will count on him more as a scorer than they have in previous years.
AJ Elliot 67î F 2016 Pinnacle
The lone returning starter from a season ago, Elliot will look to dominate the interior for Pinnacle. He is a physical post presence and understands how to use his body and positioning on the block. He should be a consistent scoring and rebounding threat all season.
Jay Green 6’5″ G 2016 Mountain Ridge
The former Hillcrest guard should see a lot of mismatches in the AIA. At 6'5″ he is a sizey guard with a versatile skill set. He isn't great at one particular thing but is very good at a lot. He also plays the game with a poised demeanor. While he didn't compete much with Mountain Ridge in June, his added presence should give them consistency.
Nik Mains 6’9″ F 2016 Pinnacle
Mains' ability to stretch the floor will go a long way for the Pioneers, especially teaming with an inside presence like Elliot. He is a highly skilled 4-man that will see his role increase ten fold from a season ago.
Dre Marin 5’10” G 2017 Apollo
While Woods may be the leading scorer it is Marin who will be the vocal leader for Apollo. The 5'10″ junior is an extension of the coaching staff (literally, he is the coach's son) and it manifests itself in his play. His ability to run the team will be big, especially in high pressure situations.
