BREAKING NEWS:  Kenwood shooting guard Zion Morgan has decided to decommit from Valparaiso and reopen his recruitment.  Morgan is the #14 prospect in the 2016 class.  He tells us why exclusively!

Morgan Park point guard Charlie Moore has made his decision!  The state’s top 2016 prospect has committed to Memphis!

Western Michigan completed their dynamic duo from the state of Illinois as they officially landed a signature from Morgan Park point guard Jarrin Randall.  The guard is a sharp shooter the from the perimeter that can light it up.  He broke down his commitment here.

Dixon small forward Isaiah Roby might have the highest ceiling of any prospect in the state’s 2016 class.  The long and rangy forward is a plus athlete that is also a great passer.  The #4 overall prospect committed to Nebraska in October of 2014.  Over a year later Roby tells us he has signed his national letter of intent to officially become a Cornhusker.

Metamora shooting guard Nate Kennell might be the best pure shooter in the state of Illinois regardless of class.  The top 10 prospect in 2016 also has improved his all-around game over the last year.  Kennell informed us that he has signed his NLI with Bradley.

Sterling Newman power forward Noah McCarty is a wide shouldered and physical post that will bring a lot to his future program at Northern Illinois.  One of the best post prospects in the senior class tells us he has sent in his letter to NIU.

DePaul secured the signature of their in-state commitment in Curie point guard Devin Gage.  The big and physical guard opted to stay home and has signed with the Big East program.  Check out his initial commitment story here!

Quiet morning, but we are expecting a busy next few hours with some high profile signings, some potential developing news, and of course the commitment of #1 overall Charlie Moore at 3:30 PM.

Ferris State landed their signature from Illinois as Springfield Southeast point guard D’Angelo Hughes has sent in his paperwork to the D2 program.  Athletic guard ran with the Illinois Irish.  Here is his recent commitment story.

It’s decision day for the state’s top 2016 prospect as Morgan Park point guard Charlie Moore will announce his decision between Cal, Memphis, and VCU at 3:30 PM today.  Here is our decision primer!

Day 2 Begins! – 10:30 AM

What is expected to be another big day starts off with a new commitment as former Geneva and current Sunrise Christian (KS) shooting guard KJ Santos will come home to play his college basketball at UIC.  He breaks down the decision with us!

Bradley Bourbonnais forward Zach Hollywood is a 6’8” forward with great size and has the ability to stretch the floor with his shooting.  Hollywood made his commitment from back in September official as he has signed with James Madison!  More here on Hollywood.

One of the first commitments in the class of 2016 was South Elgin point guard Matty Smith.  The lead guard can shoot it along with having a great feel for the game.  Smith who committed back in April held true to his commitment signing with Central Michigan just now!  Take a look back at his original commitment story.

Western Illinois signed their in-state prospect Carmel’s CJ Duff as we have received word his letter has been sent in.  The athletic guard was the first prospect in the class of 2016 to make his commitment.

Former Uplift and current Commonwealth Academy shooting guard Spencer Foley has inked his letter of intent with Canisius!  Foley is a plus shooter from the perimeter that won a state title last season at Uplift.

Plainfield East power forward Elyjah Goss is a mobile four man with potential.  He was a lean to IUPUI for a while before making his ultimate commitment back in September.  On National Signing Day he has inked with his future program.  More on Goss here.

No single player elevated their stock more on the grassroots circuit than Glenbard West shooting guard Justin Pierce.  He blew up with huge scoring games and showing his upside as a prospect.  The 6’6” wing committed to William & Mary in a heavily contested recruiting battle.  Pierce just told me he has made that commitment official by signing his national letter of intent.  “It’s official!  Can’t wait for the next 4 years!”  Read more about the senior here!

Huge addition for the University of Illinois Springfield today as Bloomington point guard Ilijah Donnelly confirms his letter is in for the D2 program.  The big point guard brings a smooth game with upside.  Read more about the central Illinois standout!

Geneva post Bennett Fuzak is a huge recruiting steal for Grace College.  The skilled four man made his commitment official just now by signing his national letter of intent!  Read more about Fuzak and his commitment below.

Neuqua Valley small forward Jacob Cushing elevated his stock significantly with Mercury elite in the spring and summer vaulting himself into the top 20 overall prospects in the senior class.  He opted to play his college basketball ball at Cal Poly and he confirms it is official now “It’s signed and sent in!”  He broke down his decision back in August!

Dekalb shooting guard Michael Pollack elevated his stock this spring and summer on the circuit with Quad City Elite.  Wednesday afternoon Pollack made it official and signed his national letter of intent with Northern Michigan.

Belleville Athoff 2016 combo guard Tarkus Ferguson has officially signed with UIC.  This is a huge part of Steve McClain’s first class with the Flames.  Ferguson is a versatile guard that stuffs the stat sheet and brings value on both ends of the floor.  He broke down the commitment in this story!

Northwestern gets their other important NLI on the day as former Barrington and current Brewster Academy (NH) small forward Rapolas Ivanauskas inks his letter of intent with the Wildcats.  Before moving to the prep school he was ranked among the top 5 prospects in the class with his ability at 6’9” to put the ball on the deck as well as connect from deep!  Check out his commitment story from all the way back in April!

Former Deerfield post and Brewster Academy (NH) standout Jack Lieb has signed his national letter of intent with Lehigh.  After an injured senior year Lieb had a great summer with the Illinois Wolves.  The strong and versatile post garnered a lot of recruiting attention on the trail, but opted for Lehigh.  His original commitment story is below!

The #2 power forward in the senior class TF South’s Brandon Johnson has signed with Western Michigan texting me “IT IS DONE. GO BRONCOS!”  Johnson is an energy big that runs the floor tremendously well, is a phenomenal offensive rebounder, and impacts the game defensively as well.  Below is his commitment story from October!

The state’s top rated post Hinsdale South’s Barret Benson has signed his national letter of intent to Northwestern.  Benson is a huge addition to the Wildcats future frontcourt as he is our #3 overall prospect in the state.
