Our next Mr. Oklahoma candidate is Harrah 2017 Small Forward Brady Manek. This summer Manek's exposure went to another level. Several offers poured in, but Manek knew where he wanted to go and committed to the Oklahoma Sooners this past month. He is currently ranked in the Rivals 2017 150.
Manek is a freak athlete with great hops at 6'8″. He has a smooth outside jumper that defenders struggle to guard. Standing at 6'8″ Manek rises above defenders to give himself open looks on the court.
This summer Manek played on the Adidas Uprising Circuit with the Oklahoma Wizards. On the Adidas Circuit, Manek faced some of the top players in the country. The experience Manek gained on the Adidas Circuit will help him greatly at Harrah this season.
Last season Harrah made the State Tournament, but fell in their quest to bring home the Gold Ball. In Class 4A, Harrah returns as one of the top teams with Brady and Kellen Manek leading the way.
Manek moves very well without the ball that allows him to get even more open looks. He can hurt defenders from deep, posterize defenders at the rim, and create his own shot.
Prep Hoops Oklahoma will keep a close eye on Manek over his junior season. The smooth jump shooter has a chance to have a very special year.
