While it is too early to project many of these players due to the amount of growth they will have in the next year or two in regards to their physical traits and basketball abilities, one thing’s for sure…this has the potential to be one of the more talent groups in recent history.
While he isn’t currently enrolled at an in-state high school we have preserved the number one spot for Marvin Bagley, the nation’s number one prospect in the 2018 class. A surefire high major prospect, at 6’9” Bagley is already one of the best players to don an Arizona High School uniform.
While there are no other prospects on this list at his level there are plenty others with a shot at the high major level, headed by 6’8” St. Mary’s forward Kwame “KJ” Hymes. Timmy Allen, Jaden Lee, Adilison Piedade, and Dischon Thomas are four other names who are early candidates at the high major level.
There are many others in this class with a ton of upside. 6’6” Jok Jok and 6’5” Tevy Jones are two players with a ton of tools who, if they continue to grow in skill and stature, have the potential to rise near the top of the rankings in time.
It also looks like a strong group of high level small college prospects will emerge in the near future.
