Prospects from across the state inked their name on the dotted line and officially put a close to their recruitment. There are schools across the country getting high end basketball players from what is becoming extremely rich ground to recruit.
The SEC is one conference that saw numerous players commit. Robert Williams is headed to Texas A&M, Lamar Peters is headed to Mississippi State, and Wayde Sims is staying on the same campus he currently resides by committing to LSU. Adrio Bailey will take his high intensity defense to Arkansas where the style fits perfectly.
Dejon Jarreau and Brison Gresham will continue to play together but this time in the northeast United States by heading to UMass. Meanwhile, big man Mike Layssard has inked to head the same direction and join Rhode Island who dips into Louisiana for the second straight year.
Roydell Brown heads west down I-10 to play in the Sun Belt at Louisiana-Lafayette where he looks to be another sleeper out of New Orleans for the Cajuns. Kelvin Henry Jr. and the twins from Lafayette Christian, Kalob Ledoux and Jacob Ledoux, will all stay close to home to play at McNeese.
Swing forward Chris Lewis will also stay close to home as he joins a 2nd year program in LSUA who has already become a national power at the NAIA level which includes one win over a D1 already this season.
Two others who aren't in Louisiana currently but played Prep Ball in the state and are from Louisiana signed as well. Mark Vital honored his three year commitment to Baylor while Skylar Mays will be coming home to rejoin his close friend Wayde Sims at LSU.
