Dakota Prairie. Won seven in a row and things were great before dropping six of eight and then they lost to Harvey/Wells County in the district whom they had beaten earlier in the year…Hunter Sand is a one of the better young players to keep track of. He is a top ten talent in his class…Caleb Quanbeck and Alex Otto are key pieces around Sand and both are new upperclassmen…
Four Winds/Minnewaukan. Led North Dakota in scoring last year at 77.7 points per game and won those games by 23 points per contest…Jason Feather is one of the workers back for this team and he can also score…Tronis McKay and Steve Red Fox are about to make a run as the backcourt that will run the floor and put up likely 80 a game the next couple season. McKay will score a ton while Red Fox is one of the elite lead guards in the state…Zac Alberts is a another name to watch
Harvey/Wells County. Never lost two in a row, only lost once at home, topped out at three wins in a row and they were 18-7 overall…The Hornets will be a junior dominated team with likely only one senior on the roster…Six-foot-3 center Payton Granger put up ten a game a year ago and is now entering his upperclassmen years…Senior point guard Brian Fike is back after scoring nine a night…
Lakota/Adams-Edmore. The Raiders won four of their last five last year to get above .500 but dropped their playoff game to Benson County by a point, a team they beat by 18 earlier in the year….Senior Branden Roningen is the sharp shooter and Randy Thompson is the double-double potential banger at 6-foot-3…
New Rockford-Sheyenne. Won just five games overall and two of those games were against Warwick…They will be better this year with only one person from the team leaving and numerous upperclassmen having played big roles a year ago…Kaleb Haley and Chance Brenno are a nice backcourt combo. Haley is the distributor and Brenno the shooter…
Warwick. Won four games last year total and a big reason for that was a defense that number wise was the second worst in Class B giving up 68.2 points per game…This is a really small team had only one guy over 60 inches tall (six feet) and that player graduated…
