Strait was starting with the Warrior varsity by season's end last winter as a freshman, and carried that momentum into his offseason. He was busy showcasing his talents at several camps around the country, and has picked up some initial Division I interest in the process.
2019 Aidan Vanderloo, Sioux City East
The Martin Brothers product is a certain wave of the future in Iowa high school hoops. He played up two levels with the 16U guys this offseason, that should prepare the Division I prospect for the varsity ball he will be playing this winter as a freshman.
Locure will be the starting point guard on what could be one of the best team's in 4A. His feel for the game is uncanny; he can do it all. Look for Locure to dazzle spectators in the central Iowa all season long.
2018 Nathan Johnson, Waukee
The 6-foot-5 wing may not get a ton of run on a talented and deep Waukee squad, but he should be a key contributor off the bench. We wouldn't be surprised is the versatile and athletic Kingdom Hoops product was starting by season's end.
2019 Trent Williamson, Earlham
The freshman guard injured his knee at the end of his 8th grade season, missing his 14U season as a result. We caught a glimpse of him at the Cornshark Shootout earlier this month, and the 6-foot-2 guard looks like he could make an immediate impact with the Cardinals' varsity this season.
2018 Rhett Darland, Clarion-Goldfield
Darland played JV last season as a freshman, but it's evident that he's ready to take his game to the next level this season. The fearless sharpshooter showcased his scoring ability plenty this offseason, and could be one of the better sophomore scorers in the state this season.
