C Jeremiah Tilmon (La Lumiere, IN – 2017)
Tilmon looked to continue his weekend dominance after an MVP performance at the NY2LA Sports Futures Camp the day before. He was physical from the jump almost getting in a scuffle on his first touch. Tilmon has filled out his long frame with significant strength while retaining his athleticism. He is playing with the best motor of his career running the floor hard consistently. Did a good job of sealing inside and catching tough passes in traffic. Finishes with powerful dunks around the hoop. At times he can try to make his post moves too fast which lead to turnovers. Did a nice job on glass and was a rim protector. Top 5 2017 prospect nationally.
C Joey St Pierre (La Lumiere, IN – 2017)
St Pierre is a big and physical post originally from Richmond Burton High School. He is a load inside with his strength and power. The junior eats up space on the interior and is a solid offensive rebounder. Uses his huge hands to pass the ball well both out of the post and in the high/low game.
PF James Banks (La Lumiere, IN – 2016)
This was my first time seeing the recent Texas commit and I came away extremely impressed. Early in the scrimmage Banks was a force with dunk after dunk. He uses his quickness and mobility around the basket to score while playing above the rim. Finished through his man on multiple occasions. Banks also hit a couple short jumpers and found teammates on post to post passes. Defensively used his length to swat a pair of dunk attempts.
PG Isaiah Coleman-Lands (La Lumiere, IN – 2017)
Coleman-Lands continued his strong play from the summer. His speed in the open floor is one of the area he really excels. The junior point guard pushes the rock end to end with tremendous speed. Works well in the pick and roll/pop game both as a distributor and shooter. The jumper is definitely a weapon from the perimeter. Plus mid-range pull up shooter and is becoming consistent from three both off the catch and pulling up off the bounce. Defensively uses quickness and anticipation to be a pesky on ball defender at the point of attack.
SF Brian Bowen (La Lumiere, IN – 2017)
The elite national recruit was phenomenal the day before at the NY2LA Camp. Sunday he was solid, but not quite at the level he was the day before. It looks like Bowen is trying to figure out where he fits in and when to look for his own offense. Had a couple quick attacks including a monster one handed jam. Defensively has a chance to be a standout with length and lateral mobility. He had one super impressive block in the lane.
PG Tyger Campbell (La Lumiere, IN – 2019)
The highly touted freshman lead guard showed flashes of his immense potential. Campbell is a slick handling lead guard that got in the lane at will with his handles and speed. He created opportunities for others with some sweet dimes particularly on the interior where he had a few incredible assists. Defensively he is active and got his hands on several steals. Bright future for him!
PF Al Eichelberger (La Lumiere, IN – 2016)
Thick bodied post that has long arms which helps him on the boards. Tough inside. Not a great athlete, but is crafty on the interior.
SG Brandon Cyrus (La Lumiere, IN – 2016)
Cyrus is an uber athletic wing that plays with a motor. Track athlete in transition with speed and acceleration. Hit a couple deep jumpers. Defensively has potential. Overall plus plus athlete that has the upside to develop as a prospect!
