Thoughts. They lost three senior starters but Hellebust is one of the state’s elite guards, Siverson is back, there are several senior forwards who received time off the bench last year, and the sophomore class at Bismarck is excellent. They should be pretty good once again.

Thoughts. They were a basket from wining state so it’s tough to get much better than that (yes of course better is winning it, but we are going general level here). This is a tough, sizeable, experienced team with a wealth of youth and some of it should be able to help right away. We have ten guys listed about, there are a few others, and we can’t list all of them. Very exciting team.
Dickinson
Returning Starters. Aanen Moody (6-2, SG, 11)
Returning Bench Players. Shawn Steffan (6-1, G, 11), Jordan Meidinger (7’0, C, 11).
New Talent. Tanner Davidson (6’1, G, 12), Wyatt Kainz (6’4, PF, 12), Tanner Ouellette (6-0, G, 11)

Thoughts. Up sounds crazy when you lose four starters to graduation as well as three starters from your bench but when you have a pair of juniors with full ride scholarship offers, one headed to NDSU, you have to have some advantages and are on the up you would think. Moody is going to explode this year points wise and it should be hard to score on Dickinson with an agile seven footer in the middle.
Mandan
Returning Starters. Gabe Meschke (5-9, PG, 12), Nick Miller (6-2, SF, 12), Jeremy Friesz (6-2, SG, 12),
Returning Bench Players. Jake Carlson (6-3, F, 12), Camren Steckler (6-5, PF, 10), Trae Steckler (6-2, SF, 10)
New Talent. Erik Porter (5-10, PG, 12)
Trending. Up
Thoughts. They are trending up for certain with three starters back and the Stecklers ready to have three very big years. How better will they be? They aren’t going 0-14 in the first two months of the year again that’s for sure. Lots of guys are back so that would be unlikely. With so much experienced playing in their line-up they should be competitive.
Jamestown
Returning Starters. Noah Wanzek (6-5, PF, 12), Logan Anderson (6-2, SF, 12)
Returning Bench Players. Tanner Lunzman (6-0, G, 12), Josh Schultz (5-10, G, 12), Nolan Love (6-3, PF, 12)
New Talent. Jake Reuther (6-1, G, 12). Ben Hanson (5-10, PF, 12), Josh Morgan (6-2, SF, 10)

Thoughts. Tough team to read. They were just under .500 a last year and with half of their rotation back for their senior year, it’s a very experienced team. Noah Wanzek is a very under rated, highly productive talent leading the way. We think they will be above .500 but how far above is the question. Lots of seniors ready to battle for some wins.
