Lowell High School should be set for an interesting season, but right now, many college coaches are focused on Lowell’s rising junior shooting guard Matthew Beachler.

Beachler has been one of the most productive players for Lowell High School over the last few years. In fact, during his sophomore season, he led Lowell in scoring, rebounding, steals, and three point field goals.

Perhaps the most notable moment of Beachler’s sophomore season came in December when he broke Lowell High School’s single-game scoring record with an impressive 44 points. He relied on nine three point buckets to achieve the feat.

Of course, the skill that probably garners him the most attention is his shooting. Beachler’s consistency from outside sets him apart from others and he has been able to showcase this on several occasions. Particularly, his performance at the CMU Elite Camp attracted Beachler plenty of attention last July.

All told, Beachler’s performances have started to impact his recruitment.
