Here we look at a cross class reference point to see how they stack up against each other in our “Overall Prospect Rankings.” This is a look at prospects #16 – #20.
#16 PG Ayo Dosunmu (Morgan Park _ 2018)
Dosunmu is transferring into Morgan Park after a big summer with the Mac Irvin Fire 15U on the circuit. Dosumnu is an explosive guard at 6’2” that excels in transition with the ball in his hands as a scorer and facilitator. Great leadership qualities at a young age.
#17 PF Nick Rakocevic (St. JosephÍs _ 2016)
Rakocevic had a standout junior season at St. Joseph’s followed by a less than stellar summer on the circuit. Still possesses high major size and skill combination with ability to run the floor, score on the block, and hit face up jumpers. Has to stay locked in!
#18 PG Evan Gilyard (Simeon _ 2017)
Gilyard was great all spring and summer with Meanstreets and at Nike Elite 100. The floor general knows how to get his teammates involved working well in the pick and roll. Can score with a floater and pull up jumper. Pesky defender.
#19 PF Manny Patterson (Kenwood _ 2017)
Patterson has been regarded among the best post prospects in the 2017 class since he entered high school. The 6’8” post put together a consistent summer where he stayed healthy and improved his low post game. Tough rebounder and interior presence.
#20 PG Marquan Williams (Perspectives _ 2018)
Williams is only 5’9” but plays much bigger than that. He has strength at the point guard position along with a fearlessness attacking the defense off the bounce where he finishes in traffic at the hoop as well as with a deadly pull up game. Excels in the open floor!
