Included are guards, wings, and bigs alike. Whether you need a shooter or a slasher, you can find them in this bunch.
This list wouldn't be complete without Ronnie Hamilton who has you can tell by now really stole the post grassroots scene with his play. A big point guard who can play on or off the ball but has no D1 offers. Kelvin Henry has had showings as well and is a thick point guard with the ability to be a scorer or distributor. McNesse has been heavily involved in his recruitment.
Next up are a set of twins at Lafayette Christian Academy in Jacob Ledoux and Kaleb Ledoux. Both can play multiple positions and space the floor. They are on a very deep and talented LCA team that includes highly ranked players in the 2017 and 2018 classes. Their play this year could lend itself to D1 offers.
When it comes to shooters, there may not be many better than Noah Griffin in the state or the south. The lefty has a quick trigger and truly unlimited range. The former D1 recruit has seen his recruitment go all over the place. Lastly, but surely not least is Michael Bryant who is a bigger combo guard for Brusly. He's got a lot of tools in his arsenal and is a high academic kid.
Darion Jones is Michael Bryant's high school teammate and the younger brother of Vandy star Damian Jones. He's a very young 2016 prospect who still has growing to do while he adjust to his body. His athleticism and skill set improves daily and could be a massive sleeper in this class. Braxton Bernard is headed to Madison Prep for his senior year after putting up massive numbers on the wing for Donaldsonville beforehand. He can score it in bunches and has the size and athleticism on the wing.
Already at Madison Prep is big man Yuryk Lazard who battled some injuries lately but has a college body. He has a real presence around the rim on both ends and has shown flashes of skills away from the rim. Javante Washington is another big who could be considered a sleeper. He had very solid summer with EP Elite and had some brilliant moments as a rim protector and someone who can step out to midrange at a consistent level.
