Thoughts. Very good sophomore class of players and they will win games with the group but being around .500 will be tough with few seniors and the top scorers graduating. Grage and Waltner do have a lot of game experience though.

Thoughts. A state title was brought back to Lincoln but the guys that were honored for all conference, for all state, and such, the guys that carried that trophy around the school, they are all gone. This will be a brand new line-up that Lincoln is putting on the floor. How will they do? The three guys listed above had nice springs and summers competing on the Grassroots circuit and that is a start.
SF Washington

Thoughts. They spent a lot of last year at number one in the state and that is possible once again. They were one of 2 or 3 expected to be favorites for the state crown and again that will be the case. They have guys at all spots with several handlers, wings of various types, and space eaters. The biggest thing they have is a PG in Siganos that knows how to lead.
SF O’Gorman
Returning Starters. Ben Lauer (6’6, PF, 12), Antonio Casiello (5’9, PG, 12), Jack Peery (6’5, F, 12)
Returning Bench Players. Ethan French (6’1, SG, 12), Jimmy Burma (6’3, SF, 12), Matt Cartwright (6’4, SG, 11), JP Costello (6’4, PF, 11)
New Talent.

Thoughts. Why trending up considering they were a miracle shot from playing for a state title? They may have lost the top two scorers but this is the deepest team in state in terms of talent. Good size, scorers, toughness, leaders, etc. Cartwright could have a breakout year, Casiello is as good as they come as a leader, Perry and Burma are solid, and French is a worker.
SF Roosevelt
Returning Starters. Tristan Teichmeier (6’6, PF, 12), Tyler Van Voorst (6’4, PF, 12), Manny Christtopher (5’10, G, 12)
Returning Bench Players. Jeff Thune (6’2, SF, 12).
New Talent. Noah Brown (5’9, PG, 11), Davis Johnson (6’1, SG, 11), Diang Gatlauk (6’2, SG, 10), DeMarieo Hester (6’2, SF, 10), Peyton Riggs (5’10, PG, 10), Jimmy Lauer (6’3, SF, 10)

Thoughts. They didn’t make state last year but if you look at the Ws and Ls, they were better than teams that made state as well as better than teams that had a much better looking record. We think they will be solid once again, maybe a similar team talent wise only with a better record. Good senior frontcourt, need a backcourt to step in and make a playmaking impact.
