Thoughts
- Have to be honest, just looking at the different names every year is entertaining. Expect NHR Prep to be going soon, Alex is coaching.
- Minneapolis North, here you are. It's your time. The MCA losses are in the past, there is no reason they shouldn't win this year's title. MCA and Rushford-Peterson had solid teams that were tough to deal with in the past but this year they both lost a ton while North is simply better losing nobody.
- Larry McKenzie's second team would running time over half of this section. Larry's third team would likely make the section quarters in this thing. No joke.
- MCA lost so many seniors, and then Damario transferred to Osseo. Coach Wall has very little left in the program. They will likely still win a fair amount of games but there will be some teams seeking revenge.
- The Hanson brothers are finally all gone, is it a coincidence that they are starting over pretty much now?
- The Heritage Christian twitter wanted us to know that CJ Woda isn't the only guy they have. Thanks a lot, but man has CJ improved. And looks taller. Better prospect than I first though.
- Remember Heritage, MTS, and North were all in the Breakdown Bracket Buster this summer and it was North beating Heritage in the final.
- Also remember that Heritage Christian beat MTS by seven in that event. I know MTS was missing a talented guard but it was a noteworthy win for HC.
- Cristo Rey may win 20 this year. They won 15 a year ago when Sims was just getting started.
- North Lakes vs Learning for Leadership has to be on the NHR schedule!
