McGlothan goes into his junior year with two scholarship offers already under his belt and plenty of interest from other schools.
He has offers from “Northern Colorado and Montana State”.
McGlothan has earned these scholarships due largely to his solid club and high school play. He has interest from “Washington State, Eastern Washington, Weber State, and Portland State.”
In fact, in this past season, McGlothan, despite only being a sophomore, shot the ball at a 58% rate from the field. His ability to score and did it efficiently is a huge plus.
In addition to being able to score around the rim, McGlothan has a good work ethic and athleticism. These traits should translate well to the next level.
Even though colleges are beginning to get hot on his trail, McGlothan still has some work to do on this level. In fact, he enters this season very confident as he is “feeling really great. Our team is going to be really strong and we will go far [in state]”.
Due to having the pieces, the work ethic, and the leadership, McGlothan believes that this is a team that should make a lot of noise come November.
As far as his role in this process, he commands of himself to be a leader. His goal is to be “the guy the team looks towards when in need and a good role model.”
Basha should enjoy a lot of success this year in route to a solid season and McGlothan may reap some next level rewards in light of his and the team’s strong play.
