Dual-sport star Tristan Bohr has been receiving plenty of interest from around the state and beyond for his hoops prowess, and though he’s generated larger school interest for football, he says he’s keeping his options open.

The Crestwood star is currently being pursued by a variety of Division II, Division III, and NAIA schools for basketball.

“I’ve received a lot of emails, letters, texts from a variety of different schools. Probably the main one is Briar Cliff up in Sioux City, another one is Upper Iowa, I was in contact with them for awhile. I just got a letter from Nebraska-Wesleyan, also in Nebraska I just got a text from Wayne State,” said the 6-foot-4 wing.

“And then a few Division III (and NAIA) schools from all-around like Central, Luther, Coe, and Grand View”

He says that he’s been telling the basketball programs he’s leaning toward football, but that his mind is not yet made-up.

“As of right now I’ve been telling them I’m leaning towards football in college,” said Bohr. But I’m keeping my options open. A couple top schools that have been showing some interest (for basketball) in me is probably Upper Iowa And Briar
