On the offensive end he’s more of a slasher than a scorer from outside. Here is what he said about his game, “I consider my strong points in my game to be my ability to drive the lane quickly and finish or dish the ball.” He has a pull-up jumper and is smooth from mid-range.
On the defensive end he is long and athletic with the ability to defend at a high level. He'll have to improve his footwork on the perimeter like most young athletes but that shouldn't be an issue. Charles has great recovery speed and can cover space without a problem.
“Things I can work on is my footwork and better my shot from behind the arch.” He understands where the current holes in his game are and that'll help his improvement. His 43 inch max vertical to go with high level speed and quickness should really impress onlookers.
His goal like most upperclassmen is to go as far in the state playoffs as possible. Ensuring his team works hard to get the most out of it comes natural to this senior. He understands he is coming on late in the recruiting process but there is no reason he shouldn't get offers.
Quindon Charles has a 3.85 GPA with a 19 on the ACT currently. He already plans on taking it a few more times to ensure it gets into the mid 20s. Very rarely does a senior come onto the scene as strong as he did at the combine but we're excited to see his growth.
