The argument can be made that without Kevin "KJ" Davis, Norcom would not have been able to pull off their fourth state title in 6 years. In the state title victory in March, the 6'6 forward grabbed a double-double, 16 points/10 rebounds, and nailed 4 three-point field goals for Leon Goolsby's side.

Davis is a long, active combo forward. At Norcom, he thrives as a stretch-four, where he is very good in pick-and-pop situations. Defensively, his length and relentess activity enable him to guard multiple positions, making him a major factor.

"I just try to play with energy. I do a lot on defense. Blocking shots. I try to bring energy on defense," Davis said.
It appears that he's still growing, so it's somewhat unclear where he will fit in at the next level. Davis is enhancing his perimeter skills in anticipation of a wing role in college.
"I've been working on improving my ball-handling, my left." he said.
Hofstra, Bethune Cookman, and Norfolk State have extended offers to the junior forward. ECU, Murray St., and Davidson are all expressing interest as well. ODU recently offered Davis at their team camp.
