There were numerous worthy candidates at both the 17U and 16U levels for Arizona Power Black. The first obvious one is Mitch Lightfoot. The 6'9″ Gilbert Christian senior was a consistent threat at all times. Also, had Aaron Weidenaar (Horizon) played the spring with this group he would have a legitimate shot as well. At the 16U level Donald Carter (Cesar Chavez) and Caleb Simmons (Desert Vista) were both options.
However, Arizona Power Black was always at its best when 6'4″ Colorado bound Cam Satterwhite (Arizona Power Black) stepped his game up to another level. The majority of the spring Satterwhite shined brightest among all players on the floor. His transformation over the past spring has been uncanny.
While he was hurt in club's final event in Vegas, Cam still had a very solid summer. When he played well Power almost always came out victorious. He did it consistently as well which was something that had been a question mark in the past.
