Throughout the club season the Aces struggled with consistency. There was a lot of roster turnover and, by the end of the July, they were a completely different group than they were in April.
One player who was strongly considered for MVP was 6'4″ freshman Timmy Allen (Desert Ridge). Allen had some very productive games at the 16U level but played with multiple travel teams and was not there for all of the Aces' events.
However, 6'1″ Tarik Cool (Desert Vista) played the entire circuit with the Aces and was a huge part of their success. The senior guard really amplified his reputation with some strong performances, controlling games for his squad.
Cool was very good on a consistent basis which gives him our vote for Program MVP.
