Preseason Player of the year

Ryan Kriener, Spirit Lake, 2016: In a conference where the preseason all-conference reads more like an all-state list, Kriener will lead the way. The 6-foot-9 Iowa-commit was already established as post presence, but perfected his 3-point shot this offseason while running with AAU national champions Martin Brothers 17U. He will be near-impossible to contain, and along with Billy Brown, could lead the Indians to a state title.
