UPCOMING SEASON
Current Roster Makeup: The last group of Seniors that Busick had were a great bunch and while they will be missed, I think he is looking really good for the future. He still has a high-end post prospect with Cassius Smits-Francisco and a lot of guards that are able to shoot the ball. Riley Bertram rolls right into the Braden Hall spot seamlessly and should even be a step above this season. This isn't a huge team but they have some size with Smits and Cole Gardner, and Will Alcock. Those three will run the interior spots. The addition of Dominic Genco should give them a little different look at times as he has some size and enough handles to stick at point but is probably their best passer. The big men will love him. They will start a true freshman this year with Isaiah Thompson running up top. The brother of Purdue player, P.J. Thompson, looks to be one of the best in the class. Very young team on the backend and if they have a major piece get hurt, it is hard to tell what they will look like. A lot of options but you are asking freshman and sophomores to play significant minutes.
2015-16 Season Outlook: This is as tricky of a team as you can get to predict but chances are they will have a good year. This could be completely off but the way things worked out with Sectionals, they could have a very good chance this year to knock off some teams early. Their regular season schedule will be tough and I would expect some growing pains but by years' end, it isn't out of the realm of possibilities they get a chance at Regionals.
