Five Oklahoma Prospects Make 2017 Rivals 150
The Oklahoma 2017 Class has a chance to be very special. Prospects across the state are garnering national attention. Norman North featured two 2017 prospects in the 2017 Rivals 150 Trae Young and Lindy Waters III.
Young was the top ranked Oklahoma player at #26, Waters III followed behind Young at #79. Waters III recently reclassified to the 2017 Class for a year of Prep school at Brewster in New York next year.
Tulsa Central Shooting Guard Elijah Landrum came in at #129. Landrum’s stock continues to rise with his ability to score the basketball at a high level. Recently Landrum visited Tulsa and SMU on unoffical visits.
Union Power Forward Ethan Chargois notched his first national ranking at #134 in the 2017 Rivals 150. Chargois had a nice summer on the Nike EYBL circuit with Athletes First. Expect his recruitment to take off this fall.
Harrah Small Forward Brady Manek was the final Oklahoma prospect to be featured in the 2017 Rivals 150 at #137. Colleges showed heavy interest in Manek in the month of July with offers coming in from Creighton, Tulsa, and Oklahoma State. Expect the 6’8″ Small Forward to collect more interest throughout the high school season.
