Cameron Marinnie returns to Osbourn Park High School as one of the leading scorers from the previous season. With the departure of some key seniors, he is preparing to step into a leadership role.
"I want to be the overall leader for my team," Marinnie said. "I've been working on creating more for my teammates to keep them more focused in the game." 
The strong, skilled, 6'3 forward is primarily known for his ability to put the ball in the basket. As a junior, Marinnie scored double figures in 9 games, including a season high 20 against Stonewall Jackson.
"I'm an all-around guy who's a sharpshooter," he said. "I can power through smaller defenders when going to the basket." 
While he's not really considered as a primary distributor, he believes that his passing one of the most underrated aspects of his game, along with his ability to rebound. CNU, Marymount, and Catholic University have all expressed interest. 
"They like how he can put the ball in the basket at a high rate," he said. "They also like how I can bang with taller bigs."
